Hot Shots Program

1 Hot Shots – Red Ball  (Tiny Aces)
A 30 minute tennis lesson specific for gross motor skills and development program for 4 – 6yr olds. Lessons concentrate on teaching children the basic hand –eye co-ordination, movement, and ball and racquet skills that are necessary in order to progress to playing the game with full size equipment and playing surfaces. Lessons are extremely fun and exciting, in a circuit type games sense format, involving a great variety of games to maximise child’s enjoyment and involvement in the lesson. (Utilises the ACE Tennis Manual – Tennis Australia’s official Tennis Introductory Program).

Stage 2 – Hot Shots – Red & Orange Ball  (Mighty Midgets)
A 45 minute, beginner weekly, game sense skills-based coaching program. Mighty Midgets (MM) is ideal for 7 – 11 year olds. Students learn the basic techniques, tactics and psychology in the game of singles and doubles using Ace Tennis Australia’s unique Ten-OjecTM  games sense teaching technique.

Stage 3 – Hot Shots – Green Ball  (Kick Aces)
A 90 minute Intermediate/ Advanced weekly coaching program that is ideal for 9 – 14year olds. With Kick AcesTM lessons are run more in terms of as quad format that integrates higher level tactics, complete technique development and tennis psychology to accelerate improvement using our unique Ten-Spec game sense teaching and physical training strategy. For maximum improvement, is recommended that players enrol in both Kick Aces and Tennis Fixtures, or a second coaching squad per week.

Stage 4 – Hot Shots – Tournament Ball  (Advanced Aces)
The next step after Kick Aces. A 90 minute coaching squad for intermediate to advanced players. Advanced AcesTM integrates higher level tactics, complete technique development and tennis psychology to accelerate improvement using our unique Ten-OjecTM game sense teaching and physical training strategies – ideal   11 – 14 year olds. For maximum improvement is recommended that for players to enrol in both Advanced Aces and Tennis Fixtures
